Our mandate is championing the rights of women/girls domestic workers

Advocacy And Policy

Our key focus is on Policy and Advocacy on the rights of women domestic workers. This involves training our members on their human and labour rights and laws relating to their work particularly on negotiating work and pay, work termination, sexual and gender based violence as well as Mental Health. DWN supports the women with knowledge on reporting procedures and how to seek redress when their rights have been violated. We also advocate for the ratification and adoption of ILO Convention 189 on Domestic Work. Our work also focuses on the documentation, legal and labour rights of migrant workers
